Workshops

DoSEM holds free, in-person workshops across Maryland for small, disadvantaged, minority-owned, women-owned, and veteran-owned businesses. Each one puts you in the room with the State procurement officers and program liaisons who manage State contracts, so you leave knowing where to look for work and who to talk to.

Ready, Set, GROW!

Ready, Set, GROW! is a free half-day workshop from the Office of Small, Minority, & Women Business Affairs (OSBA). It is held in a different region of Maryland each time, so businesses across the State can attend close to home.

At each workshop you will learn:

• How Maryland's small business procurement programs work

• How to find which State agencies buy the products and services you sell

• How to use public data to find opportunities

• How to connect with procurement officers and program liaisons

A typical workshop starts with check-in at 9:30 a.m., a program at 10 a.m., and open networking with State buyers before it closes at 1 p.m.

Advance registration is required. Registration opens about three weeks before each workshop.
